All beverages and meals will be served buffet style. You will find a range of options at all meals. If you have allergies please read the food description on the signs – allergies that we have been informed about have been taken into consideration.

Flying into Dublin Airport

Most international visitors will fly into Dublin Airport, the largest airport in Ireland. From Dublin Airport, you have several options to reach Galway:

  • Bus: Aircoach and Citylink operate direct bus services from Dublin Airport to Galway City. The journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic.
  • Train: You can take a taxi or Airlink Express bus from the airport to Heuston Train Station in Dublin. From there, Irish Rail operates frequent train services to Galway. The journey by train takes around 2.5 to 3 hours.
  • Car Rental: Several car rental companies have desks at Dublin Airport. Renting a car gives you the flexibility to explore Galway and its surrounding areas at your own pace. The drive from Dublin Airport to Galway takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic.

Flying into Shannon Airport

Some international visitors may also fly into Shannon Airport, located closer to Galway than Dublin Airport. From Shannon Airport, you can reach Galway by:

  • Bus: Bus Éireann operates direct bus services from Shannon Airport to Galway City. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • Car Rental: Car rental companies are available at Shannon Airport if you prefer to explore Galway and the surrounding areas by car. The drive from Shannon Airport to Galway takes around 1 to 1.5 hours.

Flying into Knock Airport

Some international visitors may also fly into Knock Airport, located 89km from Galway. From Knock Airport, you can reach Galway by:

  • Bus: Bus Éireann operates direct bus services from Knock Airport to Galway City. The journey takes approximately 1 hour 45 mins.
  • Car: Rental Car rental companies are available at Knock Airport if you prefer to explore Galway and the surrounding areas by car. The drive from Knock Airport to Galway takes around 1 hour.

Arrival in Galway City

Regardless of your chosen mode of transportation, once you arrive in Galway City, you’ll find taxis easily available across the city and at transportation hubs such as the bus and train stations.

If you’re staying centrally, many attractions, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance, allowing you to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Galway City.
